Loco Klub is opening its doors on the 28th of March to Bristol's sober and queer community for a night full of punk, funk, and absolute chaos. With a stacked lineup including Gen and the Degenerates, Slaggamuffin, GorZ, and host Gender Criminal, it is sure to be a powerful night for those who are seeking out some inclusive tomfoolery without the need for alcohol!

Beginning their journey in 2022, with their first event at Bristol Beacon, Bristol Sober Spaces has been dominating the sober events scene, filling a huge void for those who are prioritizing their alcohol-free lifestyle without wanting to sacrifice the nightlife that often goes hand in hand with drinking. Since then, BSS has hosted countless events for those who are sober or sober-curious.

The BSS crew is a collaboration between Bristol Drugs Project, Not Saints, and various sober communities in the area, and has rapidly made an incredible name for themselves as a great option for a perfect night out without the hangovers!

But Bristol Sober Spaces aren't the only ones driving this movement. 2023 welcomed Sober Queers to the scene, who have done a remarkable job of creating a safe space for the queer community who are either sober or simply want to try it out. Having hosted a variety of workshops, open mics, and music events, they radiate positivity and inclusivity.

Coming together, both groups promise a beautifully chaotic night. Indie rock headliners Gen and the Degenerates will certainly bring the energy to Loco Klub with their unforgiving, raw punk ballads that will give you all the energy you'll ever need. With band members hailing from all over the UK, they successfully channel their emotions and pain into a wild work of art that is rooted within each song.

Queer punk band GorZ will likewise commandeer the night. Hailing from our city, GorZ harness their undeniable talent to address political and societal issues through remarkable audio visual performances, utilizing props and inventive stagecraft to ensure their messages are truly heard.

Not only this, but the night will also include a takeover from the beloved Bristol Slaggamuffin. Taking inspiration from music worldwide, this performance will keep you on your toes. If you haven't heard of Slaggamuffin before, you will this year, as they are completely commandeering Bristol's underground rave scene.

And the cherry on top of this feral cake is the one and only Gender Criminal, whose vibrant performances have helped him make a name for himself within the city's queer and rave communities. All of this infectious energy coming together will blow the roof off of Loco Klub, so make sure to get your tickets here!
