As one of Bristol's most eagerly awaited events, Forwards will return to The Downs on August 23rd and 24th, having announced their first major acts yesterday ahead of ticket sales starting tomorrow.
Welcoming artists such as the one and only Grammy winner, Doechii, beloved singer Jorja Smith, and Scottish DJ Barry Can't Swim, amongst many more, it's set to be one of the biggest years yet.

Doechii has been making monumental waves in the music industry over the past year, earning herself a Grammy for her album Alligator Bites Never Heal, and has quickly become a household name. News of her performing in our city has quickly reached the far corners of Bristol, and within 24 hours, the excitement is already palpable.
Since first opening their gates four years ago, Forwards Festival has rapidly built up a reputation for being an unmissable weekend. Not only are they well known across the country for their exceptional and diverse lineups, but they also continue to fight against issues such as climate change and sustainability. With this combination of talent and awareness, it's easy to see why the festival continues to grow and thrive.
Falling on its first Bank Holiday, it is expected that it will be the biggest Forwards Festival yet, and with the tickets opening tomorrow, it is likely to sell out quickly. If you haven't experienced Forwards Festival before, let this one be your first!
